BBS Weekly Summary of Hours FAQ

This entry was posted in Licensure FAQs (all versions) on by .

The BBS requires you to document all of your experience on the BBS Weekly Summary of Hours (weekly log) form. All of the hours reported on your Experience Verification Forms must be documented on a Weekly Summary of Hours form.

Do I submit my Weekly Summary of Hours forms to the BBS?

No, the Weekly Summary of Hours form is not submitted to the BBS with your application.  You must retain the signed forms because the BBS reserves the right to request them if they audit your hours or have a question during your application review.

How do I report my conjoint couples and family hours on the weekly log?

Your conjoint couples and family hours should be reported on the weekly log but they should not be double counted in your totals.  When your application is reviewed by the BBS they will double count up to 150 conjoint couples and family hours earned after January 1, 2010.

How do I report pre- and post-degree hours?

The BBS recommends separating your pre- and post-degree experience on separate Weekly Summary of Hours of Experience and Experience Verification forms.

Does it matter what color of ink is used to sign the form?

No.  The BBS does not have a preference regarding the color of ink used to complete or sign your forms.

Does TrackYourHours produce my Weekly Summary of Hours of Experience forms?

Yes.  Once you have entered your hours into TrackYourHours you can generate your Weekly Summary of Hours of Experience and Experience Verification Forms with one click.  The software will automatically populate your forms and format them to meet the expectations of the BBS.
